spinal alignment and building a strong foundation to facilitate functional movements. -
Episode 2002
This workout focuses on warming up the joints with self-massage and preparing them for a variety of fun
movement patterns like “dancing with Fred Astaire”. Standing exercises are practiced barefoot to stimulate
nerve receptors on the bottom of the feet for improved balance. -
Episode 2003
Building awareness of how the body feels when it is in perfect alignment helps to avoid postural weakness such
as a forward neck, often called, "tech neck". Mary Ann focuses on using good form and proper technique while
practicing important functional exercises. -
Episode 2004
Using the rhythm of the breath as a starting point, Mary Ann begins this workout with controlled breathing
exercises. Tino continues the theme with tapping and patting to warm up for a Tai Chi segment. -
Episode 2005
Upbeat music and playful movement patterns dominate this energetic workout. Guest instructor, Sarah, slows
things down with a gentle stretch segment focusing on detailed movements and attention to technique. -
Episode 2006
Mary Ann designed a special warm up to give the lower back some tender loving care. She shares great exercises
for finger dexterity and strength. Gretchen leads a segment using a resistance band to strengthen core and
postural muscles. -
Episode 2007
This episode features a variety of exercises to strengthen the core with an emphasis on the abdominal muscles.
Later in the program, a guest instructor from Texas leads a fun line dance to challenge coordination and balance.
Mary Ann ends the program with a visual relaxation. -
